When are the best months to see the Aurora Borealis in Yellowknife?

May, June, July - too bright (long summer days). August is good - dark night, warm evenings. Equinox months of September and March - aurora is statistically highest, but fall weather is often rainy with cloudy skies, but March is usually pretty cold! October through February are good but see earlier cooment re:cold! Sun is entering a period of increased sunspot activity, peaking 2013-2014, so the next few years should be pretty good for aurora viewing. almost 8 years ago

Any restaurant recommendations for Vancouver ?

Raincity Grill - pricey, but one of my all time favourites and I make sure I get there every time I'm in the city. If your wallet can handle it, try the 100 mile prixe fixe with wine pairings. Perfection. almost 8 years ago
