Looking for a good place to stay 2hrs drive from Sydney in any direction, for about 6 peeps+partners for work retreat.

I think Orginal Nomad is talking about Jemby Rinjah in Blackheath; http://www.jemby.com.au/ There are heaps of great places to stay in the Blue Mountains depending on budget etc. Also try The Carrington - Katoomba, Lilianfells- Leura (very pricey), or try stayz.com, there are plenty of huge, luxurious houses that could manage 12 people comfortably with amazing views and you could bring in a caterer. about 8 years ago

Which places to visit in spain

Yes I agree with Janus, a trip to Granada and the Alhambra is definitely worth it, the Moorish architecture in the city is beautiful. Barcelona is also a must do, make sure you visit Gaudi's works particularly the Familiar Sagrada, and enjoy the tapas! about 8 years ago

We are planning two weeks in New Zealand next March. What should be on our top ten list since this will be the only time we ever go there?

Nice list Hilary! I would had to add Milford Sound in the South Island as well. Also If you're into wine, visit the Marlborough region, best Sav blancs in the world I reckon. NZ is pretty small (to an Australian!) and easy to travel around, you'd be amazed how much you could fit in without rushing too much. about 8 years ago

Cafes with good coffee and food in Katoomba; The Elephant Bean Blue Hour Fresh Also checkout Common Ground for a unique cafe experience! Its run by a local religious group 12 Tribes and their fitout is amazing, particularly for kids, its like being in your own treehouse. Sawiye Korean Cafe on Katoomba st - Not for coffee but delicious, authentic and cheap Korean - lovely atmosphere too. about 8 years ago

Thinking about planning a trip to Greek Isles summer of 2012. How do I start planning for this trip?

We've got over 2000 stories/photos from our World Nomads community, might be a good place to get some inspiration by perusing stories direct form other travellers; http://adventures.worldnomads.com/search/default.aspx?q=greek+islands+&sc=Stories&c=&x=15&y=12&s=Search Its pretty easy to island hop on the ferries, so probably worth trying a few different islands as they each have their own personality depending on what you are looking for. keep in mind it will be very very busy during the European summer. over 8 years ago

We are going to noosa on holiday, any places and things we have to do while we are there?

There are beautiful walks in the Noosa National Park between Noosa and Sunshine Beach which are definitely worth doing, lots of gorgeous bays for swimming along the way and great views. You might even see whales or dolphins at this time of year; http://www.derm.qld.gov.au/parks/noosa/about.html#things_to_do Eumundi is pretty inland village/town (probably 20 mins away) that has great markets on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Lovely and shady, a nice place to wonder about (i can personally recommend lunch at Claude's food at the Market, delicious) ; http://www.eumundimarkets.com.au/ We also had a really nice meal at Fratellini's at Sunshine Beach (about 5 mins away) http://www.fratellini.com.au/ There's a lot to see and do in this area whether you want to stick to the beaches and relax or head into the hinterland and explore their villages (Malayney, Mapleton etc) over 8 years ago

How do you get from ireland to scotland

Flying is the best way depending on where you want to depart and arrive. There are usually pretty cheap flight options on ryanair or easy jet; http://www.ryanair.com/ http://www.easyjet.com over 8 years ago
