    What about Pakistan Hunza Valley?

Hunza valley is beautiful. One should Go to the karimabad township, and stay at the eagles nest hotel. Time your trip with one of the festivals and it'll be even more of a treat. The trick to enjoying hunza is to consider it as your bass camp. You have to hire jeeps or a van and take day trips. Climb to the china border in 5 hours to 16000ft. Its breathtaking, pun intended. Or go trek the passu glacier near borit lake, a two hour drive. The manager of the eaglse nest hotel is ali madad. Hes friendly and helpful. over 7 years ago

    Is travel safe in Pakistan?

Pakistan is great. Dont be too quick to buy into all the oress hype. Bad news sells. Plenty of foriegners here. Many have settled. There are a few areas one needs to avoid, irrespective of where your from sure. But there are alot of great places to visits. Especially if you like mountains, camping, spicyfood, ancient ruins and architecture or just some breathtaking scenery. Pakistan has it all. Rivers, lakes, plains mountains, caves. Its true about the balouchistan province, that should be avoided. But the rest id fine! And cheap! over 7 years ago
