Which parks would you recommend for a summer picnic in London?

The best park for a picnic in London, and I'm amazed it isn't mentioned is Richmond Park. Take your frisbee, balls, cricket or rounders stuff as well and have some fun; there's plenty of room. Alexandra Park, Muswell Hill is also pretty ace for a picnic. Big views, stuff going on. almost 7 years ago

Looking for the cheapest way to get from Paris to London, travel time is not a factor.

There are a number of bus services that are very cheap, relative to the other ways. Try Megabus, or Magic Bus. almost 6 years ago

If you love wales UK why

I lived in South Wales for over 10 years. It has some of the best coastline and beaches anywhere, great access to sporting facilities, good local scene, beer, pubs etc. Politics are generally left, weather is mild with pretty good summers. What's not to like, apart from a certain lack of jobs (which is why me and most of my mates left), and rugby boys on the lash? over 5 years ago

Where are the nice places to visit in London?

Here's a great city centre walk, or two.. Walk from Leicester Square through Piccadilly Circus (detour into Soho) up Regent Street (visit Hamleys) over to Bond Street, through Burlington Arcade and over the road to Fortnum and Masons, back onto Piccadilly to Green Street Station, through Green Park to Buckingham Palace. On into St james, where there are some great pubs, you'll need a rest. Then you've got Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament and the river to deal with. Camden market on Sunday. over 7 years ago

is the train from paris to nice then monaco a trip worth doing?

It is. The train down the Cote D'Azur is simply the best way to travel along that region. It follws the coastline and stops at all the right places. The alternative by road is often a nightmare as it gets extremely jammed up and can take hours to get between the towns, if you don't give up. almost 7 years ago

Bus from London Victoria is about £10 return. Train also from Victoria is about £22 return. Brighton is always good for a wander along the front. If you are staying over go clubbing. over 7 years ago
