What does a taxi cost between Rodeo Drive and Universal Studios?

Don't take a Taxi. Hop on the Metro Red Line toward North Hollywood, exit Universal and take the free tram up the hill to The Tour and Universal Studios. Pay attention to the time however as the tram stops going down the hill at a specific time. Its a long walk back down the hill to the Metro. Metro is $1.25 or $5.00 for a Day Pass that covers all lines. No tip required. about 8 years ago

I'll be in Los Angeles no car for 2 days, wanna go to universal studios no a lot of money any cheap packages that you know?hotel and tickets

Universal Studios is accessible from the Red Line Metro System ($5 for a Day Pass). Exit at Universal and take the free tram up the hill to Universal Studios. From the Red Line you can access Hollywood & Highland, Hollywood and Vine, Union Station, Olvera Street. Find a cheap hotel near the Red Line in North Hollywood and Metro where you need to go. A Day Pass will take you down to Long Beach where there are Free Busses to take you to the Queen Mary or the Convention Center. (Blue Line Metro takes about 60 minutes end to end). There are few packages but you could use your Auto Club for a discount. Have fun in LA. It really is safe and the people are nice. about 8 years ago

Trip to LA, what to visit, where to go, where to sleep?

Take a tour of the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. Its inexpensive and led by really interesting docents. The view from the Griffith Observatory is amazing at night and free. You can view the telescope nightly with astronomers onsite to answer questions. At an extra charge there is a good celestial program. Other than that the Observatory and Parking is free. Venice Beach is great for Sunday people watching. Wear a hat, sunscreen and get an eyefull. There are Hostels in Santa Monica and Hollywood. Ask is they are accessible by Metro. We have a great Metro System, but it doesn't go everywhere. Enjoy my hometown. about 8 years ago
