The Orange Peel is a great music venue. There are farmers markets all around town. There is a large festival coming up at the end of July, Bele Chere. Baltimore has great music on the weekends and the grounds there in general are nice to visit. http://www.romanticasheville.com/summer_festivals.htm over 6 years ago
We are bareboating around the BVI's soon. Where is the best snorkeling? Restaurants? Anything else to see or do? Or stay away from?
Lucky you. The BVIs are my favorite place on earth. -Jost Van Dyke- Foxys (wednesday night bbq) and Soggy Dollar Bar, beautiful beach -Norman Island- The Pirate Bar and Willie Ts, and snorkel there at the Indians and the Caves -The Baths at Virgin Gorda are very nice to explore and snorkel -Peter Island beaches are beautiful and a great/calm place to swim There are wonderful little shack bars and places to eat all over the BVIs. It's wonderful just to wonder in and out of them all and talk with the locals and other roaming souls passing thru. almost 7 years ago
I will be in Park City,Utah. from Dec 3 to 10. Can i expect snow? Which resort do you recommend for beginners?
I agree I think pcmr is the easiest for a beginner. My first major ski (well technically I board) trip was to park city. By the way park city is my definite favorite place to go board/ski so you are going to a great place. There are 3 or 4 blue/green slopes above the bunny hill that I spent most of my time on "practicing". Forget their names abut they are low key but will still push you to learn. I have been the last 3 years now and I have always had wonderful snow there, no matter what time of year. over 7 years ago
Go to the Palm Court Jazz Cafe on the edge of the French Quarter on Decatur. A wonderful "distinguished" lady owns it and wonderful local artists play there. It's a really fun time! over 7 years ago
