Where are the best beaches for bonfires in San Francisco?

Ocean Beach, at the end of the Golden Gate Park. It has bonfire pits but you have to go there a bit early otherwise they might be all taken. Also, be careful with alcoholic beverages because the police check once in a while, they're very understanding but they would make you stop the bonfire and leave the beach. about 8 years ago

We are planning two weeks in New Zealand next March. What should be on our top ten list since this will be the only time we ever go there?

New Zealand is still on my wish list, but there's a place called Hokitika I've been wanting to visit ever since I learned about it: https://www.tripping.com/blog/blog/2011/09/02/visiting-hokitika-new-zealand/ from a fellow Tripper. about 8 years ago

I am planning a trip to Tuscany in May 2012? Any suggestions?

It depends on how long you are staying, but here are some of my favorite places. But again, keep asking because Tuscany is full of wonders: - Maranello [Ferrari factory and track, you're likely to hear the "violin" testing on track from the freeway] - Barberino Val D’Elsa (Restaurant Pio VII + Wine/Oil Canteen) - San Gimignano [Bar Sopra I Tetti] - Lajatico [get info for Bocelli's Teatro del Silenzio, experience worth living] - Volterra - Cecina - Orbetello, Porto Ercole Enjoy the Agriturismi, Olive Oil, Wine, Hills, and the best Italian accent! about 8 years ago

Where to practice Skating in Switzerland?

I agree, Davos and the Engadin are the top destination for a real Swiss Winter. However, depending on what you are looking for in terms of experience and budget, there are many other options like Verbier, Gstaad, Interlaken, and almost every city has hockey stadium where you can practice skating during the day. about 8 years ago

I am planning a trip to Tuscany in May 2012? Any must do's?

In my itinerary there were the following great locations that I suggest: Barberino Val D’Elsa - Restaurant Pio VII [homemade wine+olive oil among the amazing food] San Gimignano Lajatico [check out when Bocelli's Teatro del Silenzio happen because it is a unique experience, in the middle of the Tuscan hills] Volterra Cecina Orbetello - Porto Ercole about 8 years ago

Train from Rome to Florence to Venice.

I agree with Surenio, I'm pretty sure the prices are the same, so I would just improvise it when you're there. You might like some city too much and decide to spend one more day. If you buy the tickets before you might be stuck with a schedule. about 8 years ago
