Though I have only gone to Italy by myself or with my boyfriend, I think Rome has much to offer for families. From museums, to markets, to ruins...there is something for everyone. about 9 years ago

Does anyone know good hotels in Bali, for less than 20 dollars?
I stayed in a great place called swasti cottages. Pool, breakfast, fan, bathroom. It was right outside of ubud ( walking distance, if you cut through the sacred monkey forest) and it was $20 a night over 9 years ago

What are the things to do and sites to see in salzburg? Thanks
I went to the ice cave that's close to Salzburg, near werfen. It was 50 euros and definitely worth it. I believe the cave is eisreisenweld. It is the largest ice cave in the world. over 9 years ago

Have you ever taken a tour to Machu Picchu? Who did you use? Were they good?
Sadly, never made it. Got to machu picchu pueblo before the floods prevented us from getting to the ruins. Good luck, have fun, and take pics. It's still a goal to get back there! over 9 years ago

Any info about best non-touristic places to eat in Rome ? For breakfast, lunch and dinner...
I would just walk around, definitely check out the side streets. Any restaurant on the main streets will be expensive, so wander. I had some great food, but don't remember the names of the restaurants. over 9 years ago

How much budget do I need to have a good time at Bali (hotel rates, food etc.)? Nothing extravagant, just something for a 2-3 day vacation.
Food is cheap, even if you go to a fairly nice restaurant you can get away with spending $5-20. If you eat street food it is a lot cheaper. I stayed at a nice place near ubud that was $20 a night, with pool, private bathroom with flushing toilets, breakfast included, and a fan and mosquito net (swasti cottages). You can usually hire a guide for not much money, I'm not sure of exact prices because my moms friend drove us around. over 9 years ago
