I'd have to agree with Sam Richards. I live in London but am from Cambridge and have taken many of my friends tehre who all agree it is a wonderful city - a perfect escape from London! If you do go, have a look at the famous colleges! Kings College is amazing and located on a lovely cobbled street (Kings Parade) in Cambridge. On the same road they have an amazing old vintagey looking fudge shop where they make their own fudge. There are also some nice tea rooms around the parade. Also the Eagle pub is round the corner. Not only is it a great pub, its where scientists realised what DNA was/ how it worked! It's like being on a gondela (sorry about the spelling there) in Venice! Enjoy! over 7 years ago
If you want to see a classic show, see Phantom of the Opera! http://www.phantomoftheoperalondon.com/ almost 8 years ago
Can you suggest any great musicals that run now in London and could be interesting for a 13 year old boy?
I would also suggest Billy Elliot, but yes, there's a lot of swearing in it! Other than that, maybe We Will Rock You or Thriller Live if he likes Queen or Michael Jackson? almost 8 years ago
