Where is the best place to see a sunset in South Africa?

Sunsets are very much atmospheric conditions dependent, and with South Africa being such a big country you can get stunning sunsets all over the country. Obviously if you want a sunset over the sea, you need to be on the west coast. You can get decent sunsets over the various mountain ranges across the country. The previous suggestions are also good ones. almost 8 years ago

Flights operating from Pretoria - south africa

The flights from the Gauteng area (Pretoria / Johannesburg) are serviced from the small Lenasia airport (between Johannesburg and Pretoria) and OR Tambo (east of Johannesburg, south of Pretoria). There are many daily flights to Cape Town and Durban, a bit fewer to Port Elizabeth. Airlines include Kulula, 1Time, Mango, SAA, Velvet Sky. almost 8 years ago

With a 10 day layover in South Africa, what low cost touring would you recommend an adventurous but older couple?

You could always go to the Kruger National Park for animal viewing. Rent a normal car and stay in the accommodation in the park or in the surrounds (camping, self catering cottages, hotels, etc). over 7 years ago
