What is the best place to go on April in South Korea?

The Jinhae Cherry Blossom Festival is an absolute *must* in April. It's a bit of a hike to get there, but it's beautiful. The whole country is alive with color as cherry blossoms bloom. Any of the national parks would be ideal. I'm also partial to Busan in the South East. It won't quite be beach weather, but there's a stunning seaside temple there and the night life is quite good as well. I'm not sure about Halal food in Korea, but if it's going to be anywhere - it'll be in Seoul. over 6 years ago

    Where are nice beaches?

Bondi Beach is overrated. Manly Beach, Shelly Beach, or Freshwater (all in the same area) are great. Bronte is quite beautiful and Coogee is a fantastic beach. Sydney beaches pale in comparison to their neighbors to the north. Check out Merewether, Nobby's, or Redhead in Newcastle or Dark Point in Tea Gardens/Hawk's Nest. almost 6 years ago

What are the best must-see festivals and events in South Korea?

The Mud Festival in July is probably the most obvious answer. Jinhae has a beautiful cherry blossom festival in May. There's also the Jindo 'Moses Walk Festival', the lantern festival in Jinju is beautiful, and there's a few different music festivals around worth a look too. There are a few more mentioned here: over 6 years ago
