Travelling from Malaysia to Nepal? Airlines? Costs?

Try Royal Nepal Airlines, google n do yr search. I came across the ad in the newspaper a couple of days ago, the ticket goes from 650 Ringgit Malaysia for one way. There are many foreign workers from Nepal, so flights leaving Kuala Lumpur are reasonably abundant. over 8 years ago

Taking the overnight train from Kota Bharu to Kuala Lumpur

The Kota Bharu railway station has turned into Kota Bharu Freight Yard. So, people who stay in Kota Bharu will no longer get the Rail tickets. You can double check the info online, just google "KTM" or go to their official website at www.ktmb.com.my for more info. With cheap bus tickets, many opt for the faster option to Kuala Lumpur at approx RM25-30 per pax. over 8 years ago

Are there any festivals in the 2-3 week of this month? It's a religious time and am not sure what might be going on.

Our national day falls on 31st Aug and the muslim's hole month of Ramadan falls on 30-31 Aug. Avoid traveling on outbound highways 2 days leading to the holy celebration. Many Muslim related shops will be closed but the hyper marts and shopping centers will be open for business as usual. over 8 years ago

Try evaluating yr options at www.tripadvisor.com before you book yr stay. It's pretty reliable guide for travelers. You will hv plenty of options from pricey to cheap. It also depends if you are planning to head to hotels or guesthouses away from the regular tourist spots. Enjoy. over 8 years ago

What can i do if go to kuantan holiday? ;)

You can stay @ Cherating Beach, 15 mins drive up north of Kuantan. Usually most travelers n backpackers will head to Kampung Cherating where there are quite a few backpackers' guesthouses. There is a quiet beach where you can relax or do a simple surfing as well. There is a turtle sanctuary which u can visit, located approx 3-4kms north of Kampung Cherating (next to Club Med). It has a hatchery facility and you can release baby turtles at 7.30pm right after their video presentation. Besides that, there is a fireflies tour by a popular private operator near Kampung Cherating. You need to do some googling on the net to find out more concerning the arrangement. The border of Terengganu is just 10 mins drive up north and you might want to visit the laid-back Malay state for their renowned traditional boat making sites or the chance to chance upon local coconut collectors that use monkeys to do the climbing and plucking. :) over 8 years ago

Looking for eating tips while traveling from USA to Penang.

It's a food paradise in Penang, don't worry too much about what and where to eat. Perhaps if you want to try all kinds of food in one comfortable environment for a start, head on to New World food court, located next to Tune Hotel along Burma Road which is located within Georgetown. The main highlight is the shaven ice dessert termed locally as Ice Kacang loaded with fruits & sweet delicacies. Ample seating space and locals who can speak relatively understandable English. Enjoy. over 8 years ago
