Are there any festivals in the 2-3 week of this month? It's a religious time and am not sure what might be going on.
Our national day falls on 31st Aug and the muslim's hole month of Ramadan falls on 30-31 Aug. Avoid traveling on outbound highways 2 days leading to the holy celebration. Many Muslim related shops will be closed but the hyper marts and shopping centers will be open for business as usual. over 9 years ago

Taking the overnight train from Kota Bharu to Kuala Lumpur
The Kota Bharu railway station has turned into Kota Bharu Freight Yard. So, people who stay in Kota Bharu will no longer get the Rail tickets. You can double check the info online, just google "KTM" or go to their official website at www.ktmb.com.my for more info. With cheap bus tickets, many opt for the faster option to Kuala Lumpur at approx RM25-30 per pax. over 9 years ago

Travelling from Malaysia to Nepal? Airlines? Costs?
Try Royal Nepal Airlines, google n do yr search. I came across the ad in the newspaper a couple of days ago, the ticket goes from 650 Ringgit Malaysia for one way. There are many foreign workers from Nepal, so flights leaving Kuala Lumpur are reasonably abundant. over 9 years ago
