What are the best things I can see in singapore?

I wish you would define what exactly you wish to "see" in Singapore. Ours being a tiny island has very little to offer in terms of "sightseeing" as say, compared to big land masses such as China, Europe or New Zealand. What we have to offer here is a glimpse of old world culture in either Chinatown or Little India. There was an article in the Sunday Times just yesterday (25th Sept 2011) on the view from atop the 57 storey Marina Bay Sands Skypark where people pay to "see" our Singapore skyline and the distant islands of Indonesia on a fine day. There is also a sky pool meant for the MBS Hotel guests. This must be something unique to have a full sized pool up in the air at 57 stories high. We had just completed the Singapore Formula F1 night race which concluded last night. This would have been a "must see" if that is what you have in mind. As a tourist, I guess you just need to open your eyes to everything around you when you are in another country and take in the "sights" and experiences to bring back home with you. That, ultimately is the main reason for sightseeing when touring. Agree? May I humbly ask where you, Nezy, might be from? almost 8 years ago

What is the best Neighborhood to stay at in Singapore?

The best neighborhood? That would be relative to what exactly you are seeking in Singapore: whether you love shopping, sightseeing, relaxing on the beach, casino gambling, gourmet food, cabaret and classical concerts etc. If you are from overseas as most visitors to our republic are, they usually stay at either the upmarket hotels in Orchard Road or the budget hotels scattered in our Little India or Chinatown. As our island is rather tiny compared to other countries, you will have no problem getting from one corner of the island to another with our efficient and clean public transport such as the Mass Rapid Transport trains and busses. Taxis are available at your beck and call if you so desire. I am assuming you are a visitor and not a local, so if you stay in "Little India" as we call our tiny enclave of mainly Indian nationals, you will be greeted with the culture, smell and deliciously spicy food of the subcontinent. If you are in Chinatown, likewise you will be immersed in the comings and goings of our predominantly Chinese community. If you love an active nightlife, our knowledgable taxi drivers will fetch you to our latest and most happening nightspots here, be it for dancing, binge drinking or whatever your fancy strikes you. Have an enjoyable time here in Singapore and we hope you will bring home fond memories and recommend your friends or family to our little Food, shopping and Garden Paradise. almost 8 years ago

Going to be in Singapore , what is the cheapest and best way to get a data bundle micro sim for apple ipad

There are prepaid micro sim cards for the Apple IPad in Singapore. This will be your best bet for keeping your data roaming and surfing charges to a minimum as they come in various dominations. Buy the ones you are comfortable with. These cards are sold at the three large Telcos here and can also be obtained from mobile shops located at every shopping center. You could also buy them on line if you really require them urgently. It will save you the trouble having to look for them. Also, try the shops at our airport arrival hall that displays the "mobile" sign. You will be able to get them there too. almost 8 years ago
