Lived in Paris for 2 years, Tokyo Bay (Urayusu) for 6 months, southern Holland for 3 months, Boston for 5 years, New Jersey for my childhood, and L.A./ Long Beach since 1989. I travel the world and work in Lausanne, Switzerland for 2-4 weeks each year. I'm a dueling piano entertainer.
9-10 hours (without traffic), and not an interesting drive. I would fly and rent another car in Vegas. Or break the trip... Drive down the coast (gorgeous) to Santa Barbara (lovely town) or L.A. (loads to see and do) for a few days, and then drive the rest. over 6 years ago
Definitely Asakusa...beautiful temple, yummy food stalls, fun shopping...went there a lot when I lived outside of Tokyo. over 8 years ago
We're looking into this the other way... from L.A. to Geneva. Take it on the plane and they'll probably charge $25-50 each way. We're going on several flights though... so we may buy used equipment when we arrive. over 8 years ago
