I am interested in Hong Kong night markets. Can anybody give pointers when I shop around at this time of night?

The Temple Street night market opens at 7 pm, operates til late... Almost midnight. It is closest to the Kowloon Jordan MTR stop. You will feel very safe there. It is bustling hive of activity and lively shops. over 7 years ago

If visiting for three days what are the essential things to see/do?

Hong Kong side, peak tram of course, but also a #6 double decker bus from Central over to Stanley market is a great half day excursion. Escalator to SoHo. Foot massage Kowloon side: Temple Street night market, Mongkok Ladies market, learn how to use subway (very clean and efficient). Avenue of the stars 8 pm harbor side laser light show each night is a must. Try Knutsford Steps off Kimberly Road for enchanting collection of ethnic restaurants and bars. over 7 years ago
