quickest way out of Siem reap to bangkok

There are direct flights from Siem Reap to BKK on certain days of the week. That is quickest. The bus is an all day affair - 12 hours or so. Bus on the Cambodia side is slow progress on the track. Allow at least an hour to get through the border - and watch your bags at the border!! There are a lot of people roaming round looking for opportunities to snatch from packs/bags. Then it's another 5 hours by (nicer, air-con) coach from the border to BKK. I wouldnt recommend the Phnom Penh route as you are still looking at 5 hours to Phnom Penh anyway. There are no train options. over 9 years ago

What is a good brazil itineary for 3 weeks?

Remember Brazil is HUGE! If you don't want to spend too much time on the road/in the air, then I'd suggest just focus on a couple of areas. My suggestion would be Rio (city) for a 4-5 days to start, there's a lot to see and do there, then head out to Rio state for some time - upto a week maybe? Add a flight to Iguazu Falls for about 4 days - they are spectacular and you should spend a day seeing them from the Argentinian side too. This would leave with you a few days at the end to take in another place or hang out in Rio some more if you liked it. You could try Sao Paulo but it doesnt have a lot of appeals for tourists. Cities further down the coast on the south could be nice to kick back in. If you start flying to places like Salvador or Fortaleza or the Amazon you'll spend a lot of your time flying and culturally they are very different places to the south and much poorer too. over 9 years ago

Best way to get to Guatemala from san cristobal de las casas mexico

Most travel agents offer trips to Guatemala from San Cristobal. It was a combination of minivan, boat (to border) and then coach to destination from there - usually Flores for Tikal. It took most of a day travelling as the roads are poor quality but it wasn't too expensive. over 8 years ago
