Want to visit Croatia sometime in the last half of 2010...when is the best time to go weather wise and what are the must see places?
Dear Bella, Croatia is obviously more visited during summer. If you do not want to be present during the peak season, then no worries, you can come any time after August, and will be able to enjoy in the nature. September is still ok for the beaches, but in October is usually cold. There are many places to see and to stay in Croatia. I definitely suggest you to spend some time in the Istrian Region, since it is as pictoresc as Tuscany in Italy. You will enjoy good food, and brilliant nature. People here are very friendly and I am sure you will be making contacts and have the opportunity to feel "as at home". Cities in Istria I would suggest you to go are: Rovinj, Pula, Motovun, Groznjan. Maybe to reach all of them I suggest you to stay in Porec, that is in the nearest contact with all those cities. After Istria, you can go down to Dalmatia region, see all the islands, and National Parks. Not to miss out: Zadar, Split, Dubrovnik and of course the Islands themselves! Hope you will have fun, if you need any help and tips for accomodations or bus timetables.. We are here! Enjoy your stay! over 9 years ago
Thank You! Anything about the Istrian Peninsula? over 9 years ago
I would say the best night life is in the Region of Istria, at the North. It is near the country of Slovenia and Italy. :-) over 9 years ago
