places to stay in the Rockies between Seattle and Oregon

Not a lot of towns in the mountains between Seattle and Portland, they're quite a bit east of I-5. Cle Elum is a quaint little town in the foot hills of the Cascades, 90 miles east of Seattle. It's a good base camp to see the mountains, lakes, and forests of central Washington over 6 years ago

What to do in Seattle? I'm staying three days only! Thanks !

I recommend going to the top of the Columbia Tower(big black building). It's the best view in Seattle, taller than the Space Needle and this way you can take a picture of the Needle. It's also cheaper than the Space Needle and there's an extensive food court downstairs. Check out the train stations, Union and King Street are fine beautiful examples of turn of the century architecture. Word on food: Salumi and Delicatus are great for sandwiches. Pierogi Pierogi in Pike's Place is a must. And Seattle is in my opinion is the king of happy hours. Seattle isn't just coffee anymore, we have thriving wine, brewery, and distillery cultures too, and with a huge immigrant population, we'll knock your socks off with cuisine from around the world. over 6 years ago

The troll under the bridge in freemont, gasworks park, and the best happy hours in the world, look them up at some of the expensive restaurants like salty's and boka. over 8 years ago
