Going to Seattle and Portland. We have an extra two days, is Vancouver worth going to? If so, what do you suggest we do?
Thank you. I'm interested in seeing nature and thought we should stay on an island instead of the city, if so where? I appreciate your response. over 6 years ago

Where is the best place to park in DC to see the memorials?
If you happen to park in a garage, take note of the hours and days the garage is open. It is not uncommon to have a garage close on a Friday afternoon until Monday. May seem irrelevant until you find out the car is parked for the entire weekend. Safe travels. over 7 years ago

Where is the best place to buy clothes in New York?
It depends on your budget. Considering New York shopping is now like a suburban mall, it has lost some of its luster. The boutiques with unique clothes are often beyond affordable, making shopping depressing at times. An alternative to a conventional store are consignment shops. Now before you snicker, often times the garments have never been worn and if they have been, they are in great shape. You can get amazing designers are bargain prices. The few that I know of are Second Time Around which as various locations throughout the city. Ina on Thompson st. You can google 'NYC consignment shops' and a variety of them will pop up. Keep in mind that there are a variety of consignment shops and budgets. There is Buffalo Exchange and Beacon's Closet which are on the less expensive side and then you have your Upper East Side shops which are comparable to catching a sale at the retail shops. Second hand shopping is fun because it is spontaneous and it is like a treasure hunt. over 7 years ago
