What do you recommend doing for Sydney Mardi Gras?

Go to the street Parade, it's brilliant. It heads past Hyde Park and that's a great place to stand. It goes on all afternoon and then all the bars and pubs are packed. It's a great day. And of course head down the bars and clubs, Oxford is a great place to be for that, and you will have a mean time! almost 10 years ago

Any tips for a road trip from Melbourne to Brisbane?

I have to agree with the guys, you have two option, one is a direct route, and the other is a more scenic. I would say if you have to do the coast. It is more of a drive and if you haven't been there, it is a beautiful drive. You have so much to see as you travel and well worth it. almost 10 years ago

What is the best way (i.e. mode of transportation) to travel up the east coast of Australia?

There are many ways, and it all depends on how you like to travel and see it. In my opinion there are three ways of traveling, and this will hopefully help you in making a choice on the way you want to travel. If you were totally independent this would mean that you would love to do everything yourself, then you would like to take a camper or a car. If your semi-independent then the bus such as the Greyhound bus, these work by kilometre passes, so you can pick where you would like to go. there is also the OZ Experience, this is where you pick the route you would like to do and then you decide if you want to stay extra anywhere else. The last way would be Adventurer tours, which would include accommodation, Food, Transport and a guide. So those are the ways of transport, my favourite is Oz Experience, because it let me jump on and off where ever i wanted to, and i still got to meet some awesome people and made some really great friendships, almost 10 years ago

You are able to see few caves, the ones that i feel are worth seeing, is the Mammoth Cave, Lake and Jewl. The Mammoth Caves, is the one you can walk around in, but the others you can do a tour, but only with Australian Pinnacle tours or Aussie Wanderer. almost 10 years ago
