How strict are police from northern Spain?

Hi ! I am from Basque Country and I am pretty sure you will not have any problems with this. As a local Im not worried about this so, even less if I was a tourist. Just have your ID with you (like everywhere actually). Enjoy the travel in San Sebastian-Donostia and by the way, dont forget to taste delicious "pintxos" in the city center ! Its not a casuallity that 2 of 8 top Ten-Restaurants of the world are in the Basque Country (http://www.theworlds50best.com/module/acms_winners?group_id=1.html). Enjoy! almost 10 years ago

Hi, best way to get to San Sebastian from Bilbao this Sat please?

Hi Albert! From Bilbao airport (Loiu) there is a citybus (so about 1.5 €) which brings you to Bilbao's bus station (25 min.+ or -). There you can take another bus to San-Sebastian. Hope this helps. I think this is the best way because I dont think there is a better train connection between this two cities. Enjoy the trip! over 9 years ago

How is easiest to get from Barcelona to Hondarribia?

Hi Tanya! In my opinion you could do the best: a) Barcelona -> Donostia-San Sebastian. By bus (or Train but the bus is cheaper;-) b) Take a city bus from Donostia-San Sebastian directly to Hondarribia. I took it once and if Im not mistaken it costs around 2.50€ +- - Have a look here: http://www.interbus.com.es/i1.html Or even better here you have all schedule: (Select From: Donostia To: Hondarribia ) - http://www.lurraldebus.net/Hors.aspx NOTE!: Donosti is the basque name for San-Sebastian (So its the same city) Similar with Hondarribia: The Spanish name is Fuenterrabia (but still same city too) Good luck and enjoy the Basque Country :-) about 9 years ago
