Traveling to Augusta, Georgia, in August. What are the best restaurants in Augusta and are there any must see or do events there in August?
A place called t-bonez and coconuts are real popular over 8 years ago
There are many places in Atlanta to eat outside that are great. Depends on what part of the city you are in and what kind of food you want to eat. The tavern at Phipps plaza is popular. Einstein's off of juniper and 10th streets in midtown is great too. If you like tacos Tin Lizzy's is really good and cheap. over 8 years ago
Thinking about going to the Atlantis for a family vacation. How is it really? My children are 12 and 13. Is it safe for them?
Expensive! I spent the day there with family as part of a cruise vacation. We ate lunch there at the hotel and it was $18 for a cold sandwich that was not very good. Outside of the resort hotel the island wasn't very impressive. We were all happy to be back on the ship and on our way to other locations. We did everything Atlantis had to offer that day, so I couldn't imagine spending any length of time there. Especially for those prices, you could get a much better, fun-filled vacation elsewhere. I would seriously entertain a cruise on one of royal caribbean cruise lines. They have excellent kids programs and great destination ports that will be great cultural exposure for your Tweens. over 8 years ago
