Where is the best museum in Paris

There is a small Picasso Museum that is very nice...much more personal. If I remember right, it is not far from Notre Dame. Verify that though! over 8 years ago

How I can go to the downtown Washington?

The metro in Washington, dc is very good. Get a free metro map before you first go on a train. Their maps are good. To get to the downtown (I assume you mean the capital and monuments), look for National Mall, Smithsonian or similar stops. Most of the trains go to that general area. Ask someone to direct you to the MALL...it is a green open area in the center of monuments, museums, and federal buildings. over 8 years ago

What are the best sites to see in niagara falls canada

I agree. Although the Maid of the Mist appears to be rocking and rolling, it is the water that is rolling, not the boat. Maid of the Mist is WONDERFUL! over 8 years ago

How to connect my apple iPad while traveling with Internet

A lot of questions: do you have a wifi or 3G pad? If 3G, is it AT&T or verizon? For international travel, an AT&T iPad is more likely to be adaptable to microsims from other countries. If that is the case, for example, different service providers like Base, T-mobile, etc. sell prepaid sim cards in Europe. Insert the card, activate it, and you have normal 3G access. European sims cards are much less expensive than trying to travel using international rates on your US plan. If you have a wifi iPad, you can either go to a free or paid hotspot (turn on wifi under settings) OR some phones or mobile hot spots work as a wifi connection for the iPad. over 8 years ago

For food, architecture, music, and outdoor fun, would you choose Montreal or Quebec City? Why? Where would you stay for a few nights?

So I think the solution is WE GO TO BOTH! Any specific B and B's or restaurants that you'd suggest? over 8 years ago

What are the things I have to see and do in Washington?

I agree also on the general idea to go to The Mall, and wander the monuments and Smithsonian museums. None have an entrance fee and all are well worth going to. A picnic on the mall (several blocks of green space) is always nice. over 8 years ago

In Washington DC on a sunday what can I do, this is for an over 55

Hotel in the city? Try Hotel Monaco (sometimes available through hotels.com). It is close to a metro line too. DC's metro is pretty easy compared to some cities. Another nice area is Dupont Circle. I agree with wandering around on the Mall and among the monuments. I love the Lincoln Memorial, and of course the Smithsonian Museums. They don't have admission fees and are well worth the time. Get a mall map and pick one or two. You will have to come back again for many more! over 8 years ago

What are the things I have to see and do in Washington?

The FDR memorial is one of the newer ones, very different and very nice. It is fairly close to the Jefferson Memorial. Also a must-do in your lifetime is the US Holocaust Memorial Museum. Tickets are free but there may be lines. over 8 years ago
