Driving into Singapore, any idea where I can park?

Any HDB car park near the MRT station. Buy the parking coupon from 7-Eleven or any petrol stations. It is either $0.50 or $1.00 for half hour till 10 or 10:30 at night. Google it, type HDB parking rates. about 8 years ago

I can pay with u.s. dolar in singapore?

Singapore is a developed country, not a developing or third-world country. With that, credit card is widely accepted in many places. They have their own currency and other currencies are not accepted at all. There are many money changers throughout the country especially in town (Orchard Road area), shopping centers, financial district, tourist hotspots and etc. I trust this will be your first trip to Singapore. I bet it will open your eyes completely and pleasantly. Have a fun trip there. about 8 years ago

    Credit cards in Paris

In Europe, Visa and MasterCard are more welcomed than American Express. Nonetheless, all major establishments will take AE. Unsure about Europe, but the merchants in Singapore have to pay a higher percentage rate when the transaction is done via AE instead of Visa or MasterCard. about 8 years ago

I'm planning a trip in September to London and Paris. any tips for doing things a little cheaper or tips tourist traps to avoid ?

London Eye or Millennium Wheel, best not to book in advance. On the day itself, make sure the weather is nice before getting the tickets. In the afternoon, you can see far but not too stunning. Try to catch the sunset ride instead. If you like football, try to watch a match in London (I suggest Arsenal). It is one of the kind experience. Singing, cheering and jeering... pretty awesome! Went to Moulin Rouge Paris to watch a show... totally disappointed. Packed with tourists, not grand, tight seating and very warm inside due to the large crowd. Must spend time watching the world goes pass with a cup of coffee in hand at a roadside cafe. Have a fun trip! about 8 years ago

Why can Singaporean's not behave properly in this society?

DP, you can ask anything you want, but whether your question is related to the nature / purpose of this site is questionable. Thus, you're not getting many answers to your question. The question you just asked, IMO is best for another site or in a blog. Trust you will have no problem getting your answers from the same like-minded people. Good luck. about 8 years ago
