New York, New it or hate it?

NYC - love it! What's not to love? (ok it can be expensive, crowded, and New Yorkers can be a liitle on the ummm aggressive side, but still love it!) My tips: I'd love to know your additions after your visit. over 9 years ago

They say New York is really dangerous. how can I keep safe?

NYC is a safe city. But like in most big cities in the world, you do need to keep your wits about you, but you're unlikely to run in to trouble. Don't flash valuables, be aware of the neighbourhood you're in, watch for pick pockets in heavily touristy areas, etc. NYC is wonderful - enjoy it! Here are my tips: over 9 years ago

It is more worthwhile to stay in a neighborhood far away as Queens or Flushing instead of Manhattan? The ease of being close worth the cost?

I have a list of cheap-ish hotels at the end of my list of NYC food & sites recommendations : Or check hotels in the neighbourhood called Long Island City - in Queens, on the water with a view of the UN, and one subway stop past Grand Central Station (7 train). And it is quiet! No horns honking :-) over 7 years ago
