Going to Dubai with my boyfriend I will say we are married if asked, any advice? Also what should/shouldn't I wear?
Claiming you're married seems like a sensible precaution to take. If either of you wear rings, you might consider shifting them to the "wedding ring" finger. As for dress standards, play it safe. almost 8 years ago
I'm happy to personally recommend the Alhambra, very close to Kings Cross / St Pancras. The rooms are very small, but it's a clean, secure, well-run family hotel with top-notch breakfast. About £60 single (shared bathroom), £95 double with ensuite. almost 8 years ago
Like Rickson said, there's so much to do that you should start by considering your own interests. Since I don't know what you're into, how about a picnic or coffee on Primrose Hill; a ride on the Underground, starting and finishing at stations you've heard of; live music at a festival or a Camden pub (google for what's on while you're there). I wouldn't bother with car hire for 2 days. Far too many great pubs to recommend one without knowing what area you'll be in. I like obscure non-touristy ones, maybe where the regulars are watching a match. almost 8 years ago
