Any hotel suggestions at Tioman?
The Puteri resort at Salang beach is very nice, basic but a very chill place and the owner, Eddy, is great! over 9 years ago

Train from Chengdu to Lhasa. The train is pressurised and provides extra oxygen if required. What happens when you get off at Lhasa.
You still need time to acclimatise if you want to do it well...at least three days in Lhasa if you want to do it well. It's about adjusting to the higher altitude and the train only passes a few summits of 5000 meters which is not enough for your body to acclimitise to a different environment.
